New Baby Massage classes - learn to massage your baby.

Cherie is now running Baby Massage classes, for mums/dads/carers to learn to massage baby.

The first few months after the birth of a baby can be both joyful and challenging. Baby massage classes can help support parents through this time of change, allowing them the time to nurture themselves as well as their babies. It offers a unique way for you to communicate with your little one through the use of touch and eye contact.
Why should parents massage their babies?
Whether it’s colic, tiredness or tooth ache, baby is distracted with play while the massage produces some of those much needed endorphins.  For the baby, a massage is far more than a luxurious experience or physical therapy. It is a tool for maintaining health and well-being on many different levels, as well as providing parent and baby with time to bond, relax and communicate with one another.
So we know the babies will love the massage and if they’re happy, everybody’s happy!
The classes will be run on a weekly basis, lasting 5 sessions. In addition to learning how to massage your baby, each week there will be a chance for to discuss any issues you may be facing and to support each other with ideas and feedback. Example topics may be Colic, Crying, Cues, Sleep or Parental Stress.
